After my recent post where I went through all samples in the SPFX web part repository. I’m now having a look at web parts that aren’t included in this repository.

Olivier Carpentier has done a great job with these 40(!) SPFx web parts
A lot of these web parts use use the JavaScript frameworks like unitegallery.js and chart.js within the client side framework.
News Carousel
The news carousel web parts renders a dynamic news slider carousel in your page.
Tiles Menu
The tiles menu web part generates a dynamic clickable titles gallery in your web page.
3D Carousel
This web part adds a 3D carousel animation with picture, title and link.

The coverflow renders a dynamic coverflow carousel.

This web part generates a Twitter Feed on the page, based on the specified account

This web part generates a social buttons toolbar in your page to recommand the currrent page to other users.

This web part generates a list of RSS content from a specified Feed Url.

This Web Part displays a list of photos from populars photos sharing plateforms as Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, Deviantart, Dribbble, Picasa, Youtube & Newsfeed.
Vertical Timeline
This web part generates a Facebook like vertical timeline. The timeline is built automatically from a SharePoint calendar list in the current site.
Pie Chart
This web part insert a Pie Chart in your pages, and you can manage the pie settings as items, color, title, legends, etc.
Bar Chart
This web part insert a Bar Chart in your pages, and you can manage the bar chart settings as items, color, title, legends, etc.
Line Chart
This web part insert a Bar Chart in your pages, and you can manage the Line chart settings as items, color, title, legends, etc.
Radar Chart
This web part insert a Radar Chart in your pages, and you can manage the radar settings as items, color, title, legends, etc.

Tiles Gallery
The tiles gallery renders a dynamic images gallery as titles.
Photo pile
With this Web Part, you can display the photos contained in a SharePoint Pictures Library as a cool image gallery that simulates a pile of photos scattered about on a surface. Thumbnail clicks remove photos from the pile, (enlarging them as if being picked up by the user), and once in view a secondary click returns the photo to the pile.
Slider Gallery
The slider gallery renders a dynamic slider on images.
Simple Carousel
The simple carousel Web Part renders a simple images pixs slideshow.
Image Puzzle
The Image Puzzle Web Part is a SharePoint client side web part built with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). With this Web Part, you can choose a picture from SharePoint librairies, and it will automatically apply a puzzle animation.
Image Color
With this Web Part, you can choose a picture from SharePoint libraries, and select a color effect to automatically applied on it.
Media Player
With this web part you can insert a video in your pages that is a HTML5 compatible video or audio files, a YouTube video or a vimeo video.
Audio Equalizer
This web part generates an audio HTML5 player and will add an equalizer animation over the music.
Markdown
This web part adds a markdown (md) content render with a dedicated MD editor in edit mode.
Syntax Highlighter
This web part adds an automatic code syntax viewer with a lot of supported languages as ActionScript3, Bash/shell, ColdFusion, C#, C++, CSS, Delphi, Diff, Erlang, Groovy, JavaScript, Java, JavaFX, Perl, PHP, Plain Text, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Scala, SQL, Visual Basic, XML.
Fck Text
This web part adds an WYSIWYG html editor based on the FCKEDITOR plugin.
Tabs
This web part helps to create a tab (you manage, add, delete, edit or move a tab dynamically) and the web part editor can easily modify the tabs content thanks a HTML editor (WYSIWYG). This tab control is responive, so the layout will adapt the render with the screen size.
Accordion
This web part helps to create an accordion control (you manage, add, delete, edit or move a tab dynamically) and the web part editor can easily modify the tabs content thanks a HTML editor (WYSIWYG).
Animated Text
This web part adds a text with an animated effect.
Text Rotator
This web part displays a texts series as a rotation with a transition effect
Arc Text
This web part adds a curved text effect to your titles.
Type Writing
With this web part you can insert your text and configure an automatic type writing effect on your text. Very useful to deliver important messages or just give a clean style to your text.
Simple Poll
This web part generates a simple poll (one question) based on a SharePoint survey list.
Bing Translator
This web part insert a Bing Translator widget in your pages. With this widget, the user can translate automatically all the content of the current page in a target language.
Message Bar
This web part adds a Message Bar to your SharePoint pages, for example to display a warning or error message. With this web part you can preconfigure your messages, manage the icon, the text, the layout options and enable it when you need to display the message. This web part is very useful to display a site maintenance status for example.
Stock Info
This web part generates a stock graph picture for a specified stock. This web part uses the Yahoo Financial service.
QR Code
This web part generates QR Codes in SharePoint pages. You can edit it and modify, text, with, height, etc.
SPFx Weather Web Part
By one of the masters of SPFx I couldn’t leave Waldek Mastykarz’s web parts out. A lot of the samples in the SPFx repository also come from Waldek.

Did I miss any good examples that are out there. Please let me know and I’ll add them to this overview.
Thank you for this post. I know it’s been a while. Would you have any idea why on the “Slide Gallery” on Modern Pages , the “List Dropdown” won’t display anything. It looks for a picture library. Made one since SPO doesn’t make it natively and still no drop-down to select the folder?
I had a quick look through the code and it is looking for a list of the template PictureLibrary this has the template Id of 109. Most likely your picture libraries are of a different type.
Good morning! I know this is an older post but I’d like to use these webparts but there is an instruction that I don’t understand… Be sure that the following address are opened in your proxy (if applicable): spfx40fantastics.azureedge.net and cdn.ckeditor.com – what proxy? What Ports? I’m not an infrastructure person so I need to tell that team what to turn on…thanks!
Hi Sonia, Which one of the web parts are you trying to install? It looks like some of those web parts will be using those urls to collect resources from. Normally your tenant will block that. You would need to get your tenant to accept connections to those tenants.
Currently I am attempting to use the stock ticker one. So would they need to list them in NetScope to white list them? I just need to understand what I am asking my infrastructure team to do.
I just quickly tried installing it here so that I could get you the step, but it looks like the web part uses Yahoo addresses that don’t exist anymore. It might be contacting Olivier on the below Github site.
