about Pieter Veenstra

Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Pieter Veenstra.

About SharePains blog

For a long time the title of this site mentioned all the Microsoft technology that I’m involved with. But the title SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Project Server, Office 365/Microsoft 365, Skype for Business, OneDrive, PowerShell and Nintex didn’t really catch it all as I get involved in more parts of the Microsoft products stack and related software.

As I tend to share all my pains with these technologies I decided to rename my site to SharePains.

About Vantage 365

Since 2007 I’ve worked with SharePoint as a Consultant, Developer and Architect. I work at Vantage 365 in the United Kingdom as a Head of Power Platform. In 2017 Microsoft has awarded me with an MVP Award in the category Office Servers and Services. A year later I was re-awarded and received the award in a second category as well, Business applications.

As part of my community work I am part of the Microsoft Teams Elite team, which is a team of 100 MVP who test prerelease versions of Microsoft Teams and give feedback to Microsoft.

Microsoft Technology

Additionally, I work with the Microsoft engineers to improve Microsoft Flow this has resulted in for example a set of Flow Learning Resources.

I’m the owner of ULS Monitor project on Codeplex, a PowerShell based tool that scans your SharePoint logs for the real issues.
