Show mobile device notification area in Power Apps

When you develop apps for mobile devices, you might want to have a look into the option to show the mobile device notification area.

Within the Display Settings of your app settings in Power Apps, there is a setting available to make the mobile device notification settings visible.

By default the Show mobile device notification area setting is switched off. But it is something that you might want to switch on.

Imagine that you’ve created a really exciting app like this:

Without the mentioned switch your app may look like this. It does feel a bit weird to have the black bar at the top ready to display the notifications, while the notifications are invisible.

But with the device notification are enabled, you will find that the notifications section of your mobile device is visible by default.
