An unhandled exception
I had a problem with a SharePoint Designer Workflow I was creating a task and assigned it to a SharePoint group. Then I got the error:
Details: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the workflow instance. Exception details: System.ApplicationException: HTTP 401 {“error”:{“code”:”-2147024891, System.UnauthorizedAccessException”,”message”:{“lang”:”en-US”,”value”:”Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource
Your solution
I checked the permissions of the SharePoint group. Set the permissions of the group “Who can view the members of the group” set this to Everyone. ….
And the workflow now works.
Hopefully this will help you too.
