In Microsoft Teams there is now a new option available to give praise to your colleagues.

Simply select the Praise option from the Ellipses menu in the conversation.

After selecting the badge you can leave a comment

You then get a preview

This now creates a badge for the user that you want to give praise.

I wish there was a way to turn this off – I don’t need gold stars, I quit caring about that in 1st grade.
Then again, I guess the current crop of noob employees needs constant reinforcement, don’t they?
Personally I think that the praise app is a bit of fun during the boring working day. It can put a smile on someone’s face.
Have you tried disabling the Praise app?
