UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT: After further consideration, we are not rolling out this change, now. Based on your feedback, we have a few things we’re going to work on. If we roll this out, in the future, you will see a new message center post.

Ever since Microsoft released the new style pages , I’ve been wondering about what will happen to the traditional pages. I’ve seen many companies implementing master pages and page layouts  in Office 365.

Today I noticed the following message in my Message Center:

Office 365 - Are your safe traditional pages going to break in October? Microsoft Office 365 message

So what does this mean?

If you want your pages to load in IE 10 mode then you will need to make the above change. If you are using the standard master pages you will probably just find that the performance of your pages will improve.
